These practices have unfolded over time in response to a deepening appreciation of the depth and breadth of the Buddha’s teachings. These practices can touch every aspect of our lives, especially our lives in relationship with each other. While each of these practices flows from a distinct purpose, all three share the intention to listen and speak from silence. All three are rooted in the understanding that clear awareness emerges when, even for a moment, the habits and hungers that drive us fall away. Then, true compassion for ourselves and others is revealed.

The guidelines and resources offered here will provide you with a good start at understanding and trying out these practices in your life.

May all beings benefit from our shared effort to embody compassion and freedom.
